Easter Themed Crafts

Arts & Crafts

Taking part in group activities is a great way of socialising with others and developing new skills. Our Activities Coordinators are passionate about creating a schedule consisting of exciting activities, which include our regular Arts & Crafts sessions. From painting and colouring to flower arranging and baking, there are many craft options for residents to enjoy.

Providing residents with the opportunity to get creative on a regular basis brings many mental and physical benefits, and by combining the social element these group sessions offer, residents are guaranteed to have fun and feel a sense of achievement after every session.

Better Well-being

We believe that art therapy, in its many forms, betters the well-being of everyone, including the elderly. Our activities team endeavours to provide an engaging and varied activities programme where residents can feel motivated and ready to take to throw themselves into the activities on offer. Group activities are also beneficial for building relationships between residents, staff, family members and the wider community. Arts & crafts sessions go beyond simply completing a task, it provides many benefits and we have seen first-hand the positive effects it has had on our residents.
